Bachelor of Business Administration

The three year BBA course is spread over six semesters. This program is designed to equip students with the domain knowledge and business skills required to develop comparative advantage and excel in competitive business environment.

BBA program is embedded with additional certifications like CIMA, UK and CMA, USA. At the end of the program, students will be able to take up jobs in the corporate sector, government sector in India and abroad in the areas of management, commerce, analytics, logistics and economics. In this course, students are offered a range of open electives, skill enhancement courses and specialization based elective courses which they can opt based on their interest.

Students eligible for graduation at the end of three years can opt for an additional year of BBA Honours subject to maintaining a CGPA of 8 and above. After successful completion of fourth year with requisite credits, students will be awarded Honours Graduate Degree in Business administration.

BBA Assessment

  • A continuous evaluation method is adopted based on quizzes, class tests, viva, presentations, submission of assignments, performance in computer lab and practical.
  • A summer project is carried out by the students after completion of the fourth semester.
  • A local project is carried out by the students during the sixth semester.
  • The evaluation of the project work is divided as 50% for project work and 50% for viva-voce.
  • The viva-voce is conducted along with external examiners.
 

BBA Eligibility and Admission Process

Qualification for BBA:

Indian Boards 
  • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent            
A level 
  • Minimum 2 / 3 subjects in the ‘A’ Levels and 5 Passes in the IGCSE / GCSE including English  
  • Minimum requirement is an average of ‘D’ grade
IB 
  • IB Diploma or IB Certificate with 3 subjects at HL and 3 subjects at SL with overall minimum of 24 points
